Department of Curricula and Instruction began its work with the establishment of the college, it aimed to: graduate teachers and educational experts for educational institutions, develop the professional competencies of workers in the educational field, conduct scientific research to develop the educational process and contributes to community service by holding curricular seminars, and it participates in the preparation and development of curricula for general and higher education. The department offers the following programs: Classroom Teacher (bachelor’s level), higher diploma program in education, general diploma program in Instructional Technology, and MA in Curriculum and Instruction. The department plays a major role at the national, Arab and international levels through participation of many College members in the committees for writing curricula and textbooks for the Ministry of Education in UAE, and they also provide advisory services in curricula and teaching methods and teacher training in UAE. Also, the keenness of College members to publish their research in prestigious international journals to contribute in enriching the Arab library with their experiences.
